BY SOPHIE SINCLAIR
Coffee Girl is a lighthearted and fun read that had me smiling from start to finish. The chemistry between Tatum and Kiki is absolutely electric. Tatum may be a hot country star who can have any girl he wants, but there’s only one he truly has his eye on.
Kiki moves to Nashville to work as an assistant to Tatum’s stylist, and she quickly finds herself falling for him. She struggles with low self-esteem and often second-guesses her feelings, but Tatum helps her see that she doesn’t need to be a celebrity to win his heart—he’s captivated by her fun, feisty personality.
Sophie Sinclair has crafted a wonderful set of characters with depth and relatability. I found it easy to connect with their emotions and really root for them. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book in this series!
I’m not exaggerating when I say The Makeup Artist needs to be on your TBR yesterday. Honestly, words can’t do this book justice. Returning to the Coffee Girl world with all the characters from book one was such a treat—they remain a big part of this story, which makes it even more amazing.
This book will make you laugh out loud, cry, want to punch someone in the face, and melt your heart—all at the same time. How is that possible? Sophie Sinclair just has that gift. Her characters are down-to-earth, real, and so easy to relate to.
I loved learning how Sarah became part of the group and how she first met Lex. Sarah is full of sunshine and pure joy, and I couldn’t help but feel all the happiness radiating from her. Lex, on the other hand, is swoon-worthy in every sense of the word. That accent in my head melted me into a puddle of butter—I loved it! We also get to learn about Lex’s past and why he’s a “no-relationship” kind of guy. Together, Sarah and Lex are the perfect match, complementing each other beautifully.
This story took me on an emotional roller-coaster, and I had a hard time putting the book down. By the end, I was floating on cloud nine, completely satisfied. The Makeup Artist is highly recommended. While it can be read as a standalone, trust me—you’ll want to read Tatum and Kiki’s story from Coffee Girl first.
The Social Hour is an excellent addition to the Coffee Girl series, and I think Sophie Sinclair ended the series beautifully.
I loved that the gang played such a big role in this story. Kiki, TJ, Sarah, and Mandy (Andie’s best friend) kept the laughs coming. They’re such a wonderful group of friends who always have each other’s backs.
Cameron, the owner of The Social Hour bar in town—and several other locations across the country—is married to his job and doesn’t usually make time for a relationship. But when he meets Andie, he begins to feel emotions he never considered before. Andie is a sweet, heartfelt addition to the group. Having recently moved to Nashville with her son, Enzo, leaving her past behind in Alabama, she has a heart of gold and truly deserves happiness. Working for Kiki and Sarah brings her into Cameron’s orbit every day, and I loved watching how these two first meet.
Of course, their journey isn’t without obstacles—from exes causing trouble to jealous “wannabe” girlfriends—but the story balances drama, romance, and humor perfectly.
I absolutely love this series and highly recommend The Social Hour for anyone looking for a story full of love, laughter, and a little drama.
