Hook, Line, and Sinker - Book Two
I loved everything about this book. Fox and Hannah's story is perfection. Fox may be the playboy everyone thinks he is, but he is capable of so much more. And Hannah helps him see that. I adore Fox and have officially added him to my list of book boyfriends. Hannah is by far my favorite Bellinger sister. If I could be any heroine, in any book I've read, I would want to be her.
I loved the storyline, characters, and all the emotions throughout the book. I felt connected to both Fox and Hannah. They took on a realness, that doesn't happen often for me.
It Happened One Summer - Book One
I never considered fishermen to be sexy, but something about Brendan makes me think otherwise now. Brendan is so sweet and just enough grumpy for me. I will be honest Piper isn't my favorite heroine and I think it's because she was too focused on her fame, money, and Insta-likes that I found it hard to connect with her character, especially in the beginning. By the end though she definitely started to grow on me a little.Â
Piper did a lot of growing up throughout this story. Reevaluating her life and what really matters, i.e. people she meets and the real friendships she makes versus the fame and status of being a celebrity. Brendan finds true love in the last person he ever thought possible. He realizes by being with her she is giving up so much of herself and her life that he is willing to bend over backwards for her.
