Love. Love. Love this book. Such an amazing start to a new series. I love Jenna's writing style. I can always count on connecting with her characters. They always feel so real to me and leave me wondering what they are up to when I'm done reading.
The chemistry between Bennett and Wren is off the charts. The have such a great relationship that started years ago, since Bennett is best friends with Wren's brother, Liam. Liam always made it known to his buddies that his sister was off limits. But that didn't keep Liam from falling for her secretly. He has always been in Wren's life in one way or another, so when his house needs to be worked on Liam volunteers his sister's house for him to stay at. The uncertainty of staying there and hiding his feelings for Wren start to creep in and he wonders if he will be able to control himself and his thoughts.
Wren is a strong and independent woman with some insecurities when it comes to dating. She has been out of the dating scene for a long time and is looking to get back in. But for an unknown reason all her dates have been canceling on her, and it turns out it's all because of Liam. But Bennett the true hero that he is, makes sure that he cleans up the mess that Liam created with the last date that stood her up. From then things begin to build between these two, neither willing to admit it. Wren decides that she still wants to date, that she's not getting younger and she would love a real family one day for her and River. That is when she "hires" Bennett to be her dating coach. Who knew that being a dating coach would mean that it came with all these special perks?
Bennett has a hard time giving her pointers on how to please other guys when deep down he wants to be the only man she pleases. And now with Wren's feelings for Bennett being front and center she can't control her desire to be with him, but she isn't sure he feels the same.
Starting a relationship with Wren could ruin Bennett's friendship with his best friend, but he has to figure out if it's all really worth it. And when it comes to both River and Wren it is.
This is a new series by Jenna Hartley and definitely one that you should pick up and start... like now!
I loved being back in Alondra Valley and getting Penny and Liam's story.
Liam is the biggest Cinnamon Roll ever! He has been keeping the biggest secret of his life for the past 6 years, all because of how his grandfather reacted to the news. But now after meeting Penny, who has taught him that it's ok to be himself, he wants to share it now only with her but his family too.
Penny is left the day of her wedding by her fiancé and as a result of "running away" from her guests she runs into Liam. He takes her and hides her as she requests, but sparks start flying pretty quickly. Liam helps Penny learns to find herself and what makes her truly happy.
These two are just the sweetest romance authors you can ever met. They had such an amazing connection from the get go and to see them grow with the help of one another was huge. Let's not forget the chemistry... it was off the charts. My favorite part was how Penny along with Liam's mother helped start Meghan Hart Day, just so that he could experience the love and adoration from his fans without him ever having to reveal who Meghan Hart really is. I think that was the sweetest and most amazing thing anyone can do.
Goodness gracious this book is hot!
Tristan and Ellie are magic and perfect for one another. Tristan is a widow. His sister-in-law moves in with him, to help him take care of his daughter. But what Tristan didn't expect to fall for his sister-in-law.
Ellie, is an influencer and has been helping out Tristan take care of her niece, since her sister passed away. She had all intentions of helping Tristan get on his feet and then moving to Australia. The last thing on her mind was to find love with him.
Love happens when it's supposed to happen, we have no control over it. And who we end up loving can't be stopped. I loved the relationship between Tristan and Elle and how they brought out a different side of each other.
