Love. Love. Love this book. It’s such an amazing start to a brand-new series. I adore Jenna’s writing style—I can always count on connecting deeply with her characters. They feel so real that when I finish a book, I’m left wondering what they’re up to next.
The chemistry between Bennett and Wren is completely off the charts. Their relationship has been building for years, as Bennett is best friends with Wren’s brother, Liam—who made it very clear to his buddies that his sister was absolutely off-limits. That warning doesn’t stop Bennett from falling for her anyway, quietly and completely. He’s always been part of Wren’s life in one way or another, so when his house needs repairs, he ends up staying at Wren’s place. As proximity increases, so does the tension, and Bennett starts questioning whether he can really keep his feelings in check.
Wren is strong, independent, and confident—yet understandably insecure when it comes to dating. After being out of the dating scene for a long time, she’s finally ready to put herself back out there… only for her dates to keep canceling. The reason? Liam. Thankfully, Bennett steps in like the true hero he is and fixes the mess left behind after her last date stands her up. From that moment on, something begins to shift between them, though neither is ready to admit it.
Determined not to waste any more time, Wren decides she wants to date seriously. She dreams of a real family for herself and River and knows she can’t wait forever. That’s when she “hires” Bennett as her dating coach. What she doesn’t expect is that coaching comes with very personal—and very tempting—perks. Bennett struggles to give her advice on pleasing other men when all he wants is to be the only one she’s with.
As Wren’s feelings move front and center, she can’t ignore her desire for Bennett, even though she isn’t sure he feels the same. Starting a relationship with her could cost Bennett his friendship with his best friend—but when it comes to both Wren and River, the risk is absolutely worth it.
This is a new series by Jenna Hartley and one you should definitely pick up and start… like, now.
I loved being back in Alondra Valley and finally getting Penny and Liam’s story.
Liam is the biggest cinnamon roll ever. He’s been keeping the most important secret of his life for the past six years, all because of how his grandfather reacted when he first learned the truth. But after meeting Penny, who shows him that it’s okay to be fully himself, Liam begins to imagine a future where he can share that secret—not just with her, but with his family too.
Penny is left at the altar on her wedding day, and while trying to escape the awkwardness and heartbreak, she quite literally runs into Liam. When she asks him to hide her away, he does—and sparks start flying almost immediately. Liam helps Penny rediscover who she is and what truly makes her happy, while Penny encourages Liam to step into the life he deserves.
These two are the absolute sweetest romance authors you’ll ever meet. Their connection is instant, genuine, and so easy to root for. Watching them grow—both individually and together—was incredibly satisfying. And let’s not forget the chemistry… it was completely off the charts.
My favorite part was Penny teaming up with Liam’s mother to create Meghan Hart Day, allowing Liam to experience the love and adoration of his fans without ever having to reveal who Meghan Hart really is. It was thoughtful, emotional, and honestly one of the sweetest gestures I’ve read in a long time.
Goodness gracious, this book is hot.
Tristan and Ellie are pure magic together and absolutely perfect for one another. After losing his wife, Tristan is left to raise his young daughter, and his sister-in-law, Ellie, moves in to help him navigate life as a single dad. What he never expects is to fall for the one person he shouldn’t.
Ellie is an influencer who steps in to care for her niece after her sister’s passing. Her plan is simple: help Tristan get back on his feet, then move on to Australia. Falling in love with him is the very last thing on her mind… until it isn’t.
This story is such a beautiful reminder that love shows up when it wants to. We don’t get to control who we fall for or when it happens. I adored watching Tristan and Ellie’s relationship unfold and seeing how they brought out entirely new sides of each other. Emotional, steamy, and heartfelt—this one had me hooked.
