Maybe Someday - Book 1

This book has hit me in a way that only a few books ever have. I am pretty much obsessed with it. Ridge and Sydney ... there just are no words. Ridge is a song writer, but not just any song writer but a deaf writer. Sydney lives in the same apartment complex as he does and she would go outside and listen to him play his guitar. Their friendship starts from afar and he is there to help her when she finds out that her boyfriend and best friend have been sneaking behind her back. Ridge takes her in till she gets back on her feet but learns that she has a talent when it comes to writing music. Sydney helps Ridge with his writers block and they build a relationship like no other. My heart was screaming for these two from the get go, but at the same time it hurt because Ridge is already in a relationship. I am not one for cheating and do not approve of it, but this story tore me up inside. I felt like Ridge and Sydney were so much better together. Maggie is an amazing and strong woman who shouldn't have to be with someone who would kiss another and have strong feelings for someone else.  She deserves so much better no matter what her destiny is in the end.
