My Way To You - Book 7
Sometimes things have to come to an end and that includes a book series. I honestly loved each and every book in the Love in Everton Series by Fabiola Francisco. The characters were real to me and still are. They are like my best friends and I can't wait to do a reread so that I can be with them all again.
My Way to You is the 7th and final book in the series. This second chance romance was the perfect way to end this series. Fabiola did an phenomenal job with this one, pulling at those heart strings. They say you save the best for last and I think she definitely saved one of the best for last in this series. (Make you Mine is still by far my favorite in this series, but My Way to You is a close second).
Easton and Faith are first love/second chance romance ideals. We got a glimpse of their relationship at the beginning of the book and the connection that they had when they were younger is easily brought back as adults. They were always meant to be together. And with them both wanting another chance, they make it possible. Easton is such an amazing man, who would do absolutely anything for those that he loves. But he has trouble putting himself and his wants first. Faith is the sweetest girl and is afraid of getting her heart broken all over again. I love that these two were so open about their feelings from the get go, putting everything out in the open. The feelings these two felt for each other was so strong that it left me feeling those same emotions.
Stories like this one make you believe that finding your first love at a young age is possible. And finding it with the same person years later is as well, you just have to both want it to make it work.
Then I Met You - Book 6
Fabiola how do you do it? How do you make each man in Everton better than the last. Wait actually... no one beats Eli, but Gavin is up there. This series is so addicting and I wish that we could follow this group of friends forever.
I love this story of second chance love with a HEA. The storyline was easy to follow and the characters are wonderful and likeable. I loved that we got to see some of the other members of the Everton crew and got caught up on their lives as well.
This story follows Gavin, who is a single parent, raising his daughter with the help of his family. He has a hard time letting himself find someone, because it's not just his heart that he is looking out for but his daughter's as well. Gavin is an amazing dad and always has best intentions when it comes to his daughter. He is such a fun and loving dad, giving his daughter the attention and love that she deserves. Penny is just the sweetest little girl, I absolutely adore her. The way she interacts with Gavin and Sutton melts my heart. Sutton may not have ever intended on falling for a dad, but she did. These two make such an amazing and adorable couple. Sutton goes into Mama bear mode and it fills my heart with pride that she did. Penny may not be hers, but she loves her as if she was her own.
I am glad that Sutton got her own book. I won't lie, in previous books I wasn't her biggest fan. But after this book and learning about her, my heart opened up. She is such a fun, spunky, sweet, hardworking woman. The perfect woman for Gavin and Penny.
I think the ending of the book was perfect for Gavin and Sutton. It brought tears to my eyes and left me feeling so happy... and craving cupcakes. I would love to read a follow up on these two.
You Make It Easy - Book 5
How do you do it, Fabiola? I am in awe of how you created this town of Everton with characters that we cling to and fall in love with. You have created yet another irresistible, fun, and sweet story to an already outstanding series. Each book is better than the last and honestly it is getting harder to pick a favorite Everton guy. They are all so amazing in their own ways and so are their leading ladies.
This Best Friends Brother's romance story is perfection.
Finn has dated women in town with no intentions of it ever getting too serious. He never came across the one that would make him consider a future. And never did he ever imagine falling for his sister's best friend.
Abbie is the girl that we can all relate to. She is an introvert, a photographer and bookworm, and has very little self confidence. She doesn't have the time to go out into the world to find herself a guy, so she turns to a dating app to help her out. She finds she has trouble being herself and talking to other guys. But when it comes to people she has known forever she has no problem opening up.
Finn and Abbie's relationship is just so freakin' adorable. The chemistry between the two is off the charts. They have known each other for so long and have finally realized what they have been unknowingly looking for has been right in front of them. They both learn to ignore the talk of the town and focus on them and their own happiness. Abbie learns to overcome her own insecurities and to accept herself without judgement or criticism.
Because I see alot of me in Abbie, this has been an eye opener for myself. I am a huge introvert and hide behind a book whenever I can. My self confidence could be a lot better. I have a loving husband who thinks the world of me and tells me all the time and I always wonder what it is exactly that he sees in me when he could have anyone else. Seeing how happy Abbie is with Finn is how I feel with my husband. He doesn't judge me and sees me through unfiltered eyes (just like Finn does with Abbie).
Make You Mine- Book 4
I LOVE this series!! I am so excited that Fabiola Francisco keeps adding more books with amazing characters. Make You Mine is just as amazing as Write You A Love Song. Also, let me make it known that the men in the Love in Everton series get hotter and hotter with each new addition. And Eli is at the top of my list of favorites. He isn't just sexy, he is sweet, hardworking, confident, and an all around amazing man. This enemy to lovers story, is between Averly Cooper and Eli Hastings, and the tension between the two is felt from the beginning when we first see the two together in Pretend You're Mine. Averly strives on order and everything happening as she has it planned. If things happen earlier, like the bed and breakfast finishing 3 years ahead of time, she is able to cope and roll with it, because it was her doing. Being in this relationship with Eli has taught her to let go a little and let things happen. Planning is great, but if something happens that wasn't in their plans they have each other to go through with it together. This story is filled with so many happy and heartwarming moments between the two. The love and dedication Eli has for Averly can make anyone's heart melt.
Fabiola is one of a very small list of authors that I absolutely love reading from. Her characters are strong and the stories are heartwarming, intense, and easy to follow along.
Pretend You're Mine - Book 3
I am so excited that Pretend You're Mine - book 3 in the Love in Everton Series, is officially out in the real world for everyone to read. I absolutely loved this book. Fabiola Francisco is an amazing author and builds worlds and characters that I wish were real. My first book by Fabiola, was the first book in this series, Write You a Love Song. I loved it, however, I will save my review for this book for another day. Today I'm focusing on Pretend You're Mine, which is book 3 of the Love in Everton Series.
This book follows Harris, who is Knox's manager/business partner and Poppy, the Mayor's daughter. While shopping Poppy, runs into a family friend that she is not interested in at all. She has tried to avoid him at all costs and has turned down his numerous date requests, but he hasn't gotten the clues. Poppy has been staying clear of the men in town, not only because she isn't interested in them, but also because of a bet that is going on to see who can get a date with her. When he asks her yet again to go out, she is left with one thing.. a fake boyfriend. She turns around and spots Harris and pretends that he is her boyfriend. Lucky for her, Harris catches on and goes with it.
Harris is the perfect boyfriend and a dream come true. Poppy is such a sweet girl, who only wants to find a guy that will love her for her and not what he can gain by dating the Mayor's daughter. The moment these two lay eyes on each other, sparks are flying. They put on this act that they are in a real relationship, with plans of ending shortly after the Mayor's ball. What they think is fake starts to become more real with each moment that they spend together. The characters are so well developed that you begin to feel like they are your own friends and you're just sitting on the sidelines watching it all unfold.
Pretend You're Mine can be read as a standalone, but trust me you won't want to miss out on the previous two book - Write You a Love Song and Roping Your Heart.
Roping Your Heart - Book 2
This book is everything! I love and adore Axel and Lia. Their relationship is so strong because of the friendship that they had from the beginning. I couldn't help but smile as I was reading, because of the way Axel and Lia were behaving with each other. I love how they have this "I dare you" thing going on, that they can't help but accept. Again Fabiola creates a story line that is relatable and easy to follow. The characters are adorable and leaving you wanting more. I would love to see more of Axel and Lia in the future.
Write You A Love Song - Book 1
Amazing! Outstanding! The perfect start to an addicting series. Write You A Love Song is my first book by Fabiola and I can honestly say it won't be my last. I love her writing style as it makes you feel like your best friend is telling you their life story. I was drawn into the story from the very first page and would pick up the book any spare minute I had. I absolutley love Knox, he is by far my favorite book boyfriend. The relationship that develops between Knox and Ainsley is so heartwarming. I could not stop smiling throughout the book, so many sweet happy moments. I am so excited to know there will be a second book to follow Axel (Knox's brother), I am secretly hoping Knox will appear in it as well. Thank you Fabiola for an amazing book, you found yourself a new fan.
